The Washington State Library is recruiting for two non-permanent librarians. These positions report to the deputy state librarian and acts as a librarian serving the patrons of the State Library and will support the information needs of all Washington legislators, agency staff, and residents of the state, to promote an informed electorate. These positions will also support the collection maintenance activities required to guarantee the quality and accuracy of the collection. Such duties may include online database searching, copy cataloging or editing catalog records to maintain optimal discovery, shelving, inventory review, maintenance activities, describing and updating digital records, and capturing and uploading digital publications. This is a non-permanent opportunity and is expected to last through June 30, 2018.
