Josephine Community Library District seeks a dynamic leader to serve as the Public Services Director who will manage all programs and events for the library system, and provide oversight of library circulation, ensuring excellent customer service while seeking to meet current needs of library patrons and anticipate future directions of the community. The Public Services Director works closely with the Library Director to help maintain a team-oriented climate that will attract, keep, inspire, and motivate quality staff and volunteers and secure the trust and confidence of the Board of Directors. The Public Services Director oversees three Branch Managers, the Children’s Librarian, Reference Librarian, and Volunteer Coordinator with annual budgets, administrative matters, volunteer teams, training, planning, and troubleshooting. This position also manages the Grants Pass branch, responding to patron concerns, supervising circulation volunteers, and refreshing display areas. Detailed information is available on our website.
