Job Summary:

The Reference and Instruction Librarian – Urban and Public Affairs provides reference and information services for the University’s students and faculty as well as members of the general public; participates in a dynamic instructional program, including classroom and online instruction; consults and collaborates with scholars; and coordinates information resources to support the instructional and research needs of a diverse institution. Some evening and weekend instruction is required. This position may serve as a liaison to academic units: Criminology and Criminal Justice, Political Science, Public Health, and Urban Studies and Planning. Portland State University non-tenure track faculty members contribute to faculty governance activities within the Library and the University and engage in research activities and professional service, as assigned.
