Job Summary:

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Libraries for Research Services, the Director of Branch Libraries has administrative, programmatic, and operational responsibilities for all of the branch libraries, except for the Law Library. The director exercises supervisory and oversight authority for librarians, officers of administration, classified staff, and student assistants. The position is responsible for responding to the needs of faculty, students, staff, and the public.

This position provides strategic leadership and oversight for assigned areas in the position’s portfolio, but also contributes significant hands-on work related to library-wide strategic planning and evaluation. The Director supervises 4.0 FTE non-tenure-track faculty.
