The Health Sciences Librarian is responsible for planning, promoting and  This position provides information services to support the needs of the OHSU community and cultivates relationships with faculty, staff, researchers, and students in OHSU programs. The Health Sciences Librarian provides instruction at educational and clinical sites, develops lesson plans, and provides educational programs in one-on-one and group settings, meeting the needs of OHSU users.  This position is designed for an early-career librarian who will work closely with other faculty librarians to develop advanced skills in instruction, research, outreach, assessment, and the critical appraisal and use of evidence to make clinical or research decisions. This individual works competently and sensitively with a broadly diverse constituency with regards to many facets of identity, including but not limited to gender, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion.
