Deputy Director (open until filled)

The Deputy Director provides system-wide strategic oversight of the library’s initiatives, goals, standards, and policies. They are responsible for planning and directing the delivery of library services, spearheading the development and implementation of a 3-year strategic plan, and ensuring that all new initiatives and projects are aligned with the Library’s vision and mission. They work as part of the leadership team to develop goals, standards, and policies for library services, and develop standards for correct interpretation and application of NCRL policies and procedures.
The Deputy Director is a member of NCRL’s executive leadership team and possesses full delegated authority to act on behalf of the Executive Director in their absence. They oversee public relations, marketing and graphics, facilities, project management, and other areas as assigned by the Executive Director.
