With the assistance of Volunteers ensures the daily operations of the Library. Assists
readers in use of library catalogs, databases, and indexes to locate books and
other materials. Answers questions that require only brief consultation of standard
reference. Complies records; sorts and shelves books, repairs damaged books,
registers patrons, checks materials in and out of the circulation process. Selects
adult non-fiction, fiction and children’s books for purchase, prepares books for
circulation. Requires high level of public contact.
