The St. Helens Public Library has a job opening for a regular part-time Library Assistant working 20 hours per week. A typical work week has four shifts of five hours each that might be scheduled morning/afternoon, afternoon/evening, and on Saturday. The successful applicant will be supervised by the Library Director but will receive direction and training from other library staff. A typical day will include routine duties within the library primarily serving patrons at the circulation desk and re-shelving collection items. Supplementary duties will include other activities in support of the library’s operation and special projects.
