The Youth & Family Learning Services Manager is the Library Programs and Services Division’s primary leader and coordinator for system-wide services to children and teens, families, and the adults who support them.

The position spearheads work to support the Executive Director and Chief Librarian and priority for Youth and Early Learning, including key system-wide initiatives to help every child become a reader, to provide opportunities for teens to contribute and connect as full citizens, and to extend the Library’s support for parents and caregivers.  The successful candidate will support the Library’s commitment to the City of Seattle’s Race and Social Justice Initiative. They achieve this by coordinating system-wide programming focused on making Seattle a more equitable city for those furthest from racial, digital, economic, educational, and social justice.
