The UO Libraries is seeking an Associate Vice Provost and University Librarian for Collections and Discovery Services to move an ambitious agenda forward. Emerging from a year of pandemic-affected operations, we are rebuilding our personnel ranks and re-thinking the way we work and serve our community. The successful candidate will join a newly formed leadership team at a time when the Libraries are embarking on the development of a fresh vision and a novel strategic design for a sustainable, global, and just information future.

The AVPUL-CDS will collaborate with the Libraries’ administrative team and leadership team to achieve overall organizational goals and build a strong culture of collaborative leadership, and will be responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the CDS division, which includes four departments: Cataloging, Metadata, and Preservation Services; Digital Scholarship Services; Electronic Resources and Acquisitions; and Special Collections and University Archives.
