Project Manager, Vietnamese Portland: History, Memory, Community Archive (Open until filled)

Lewis & Clark College
Portland, OR

This half-time role manages the Vietnamese Portland: History, Memory, Community archive project. This means managing student workers, making sure tasks are completed on time, scheduling, conducting, and transcribing oral histories, attending team meetings, keeping the Head of Special Collections apprised of progress, and innovating new ways to grow and develop the archive. It may also mean collecting and processing physical and digital donations and managing both release forms and deeds of gift. It may require designing outreach material and seeking opportunities to engage with the Vietnamese community of Portland. This may at times require attendance of events on the weekend.
