The City of Milwaukie’s library director oversees a staff of 18.25 FTE, comprised of dedicated individuals and a budget of nearly $2.2 million. Library staff are long-tenured, know both their respective jobs and library patrons well, and are committed to customer service. Staff take immense pride in the library and the programs it offers. There is strong support for the library from the city, community, Library Board, Library Foundation, Friends of the Ledding Library and the Clackamas County library network. The new building is waiting to fully meet its potential as people return to in-person services.
