Interim Reference and Instruction Librarian (open until filled)

This position consults and collaborates with scholars; participates in a dynamic instructional program, including classroom and online instruction; provides reference and information services for the University’s students and faculty as well as members of the community; and selects information resources to support the instructional and research needs of a diverse institution. This position has the primary responsibility of the creation and maintenance of research guides and web pages related to local, state, federal, and international government information in all formats; and relevant reference and instruction. This position engages with other members of the state and national Federal Depository Library Program community through participation in conferences, discussion lists, or web-based events. This position serves as the liaison to academic units in the social sciences, such as Public Administration, International and Global Studies, and Economics, depending on the needs of the Library. Some evening and weekend instruction and/or reference duty is required. This full-time, temporary, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position reports to the Research & Instruction Services Manager. PLEASE NOTE: This position is funded through June 30, 2023. This position will be terminated at that time.
