The Reference and Instruction Librarian – Science and Engineering provides reference and information services for the University’s students and faculty as-well-as members of the general public; participates in a dynamic instructional program, including classroom and online instruction; consults and collaborates with scholars; and coordinates information resources to support the instructional and research needs of a diverse institution. Some evening and weekend reference duty and/or instruction is required. This position will serve as a liaison to academic units including the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science, including Engineering Technology Management; School of Architecture; the Maseeh Department of Mathematics and Statistics; and Departments of Chemistry and Physics. This full-time, temporary, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position reports to the Research & Instruction Services Manager. PLEASE NOTE: This position is funded through June 30, 2023. This position will be terminated at that time.
