The University of Oregon Libraries seeks an experienced professional with a passion for public engagement and outreach to serve as its next Corrigan Solari University Archivist and Historian. Reporting to the Director of Special Collections and University Archives, the University Archivist and Historian is the primary steward of the UO’s institutional history, and works to collect, preserve, and tell the story of the institution’s legacy and impacts. University Archives materials are heavily utilized by campus and the public, and have contributed to both the architecture and the museum of the famed Hayward track and field complex in Eugene; as well as to exhibits and publications.
