Vernonia Public Library
The City of Vernonia is currently accepting applications for a Library Director. This position is responsible for managing library staff and volunteers, developing programs, developing collections, providing budgeting information, providing customer service, and managing library facilities.
The position is salaried, 32-40 hours per week plus benefits. Requires a high school diploma. Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree in Library Science or Education preferred, but not required. Experience in a library, educational support setting, or equivalent in customer service preferred. Must have an interest in working with children and providing programs for families.
