Eastern Oregon University (EOU) seeks nominations, applications, and expressions of interest for a qualified, knowledgeable, and visionary Dean of the Library.


The Dean of the Library is a full-time, 12-month, full employee benefits eligible position in the EOU Library. This position reports directly to the Provost/Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs.

The Dean of the Library is responsible for the overall administration, planning, staffing, budget development and implementation, assessment, and policy development for library services, collections, and facility. This position is charged with setting and following a strategic direction for the library as well as participating in meetings of academic affairs leadership in order to aid in the accomplishment of the Division of Academic Affairs strategic goals and priorities.
