This regular, full-time, overtime-exempt position is ideal for a credentialed librarian who is committed to equitable access to information and prepared for the realities facing modern public libraries.

In this leadership position, you will oversee core library operations while guiding and supporting a skilled team of library staff. The Supervising Librarian ensures services are welcoming, inclusive, and consistent, while maintaining clear expectations around patron behavior and staff safety. Successful candidates must be prepared to address complex situations related to homelessness, mental health, and social service needs using a trauma-informed approach, while collaborating with internal partners and community agencies to support appropriate responses.
