Description: The Teen and Adult Learning Librarian at Tillamook County Library plans and delivers engaging programs and services for patrons ages 12 and up. This role develops the young adult materials, provides reference and reader’s advisory, and supports digital literacy and lifelong learning. Responsibilities include outreach, community partnerships, and promoting library use among teens, emerging adults, and lifelong learners. The position requires an MLIS and experience working with teens. Ideal candidates are creative, collaborative, and committed to inclusive, community-centered library service in a rural setting. Additional experience that will be helpful for this position includes supporting job seekers, working with educational institutions, and developing appointment-based reference as a service program.
