Description: Heritage University is located on the Yakama Reservation in central Washington. Founded in 1982 by two women from the tribe and a nun who served as the institution’s first president, Heritage is the only private 4-year institution in the US to be as both a Hispanic Serving Institution (HIS) and a Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institution (NASNTI).
The region has 300+ days of sunshine to enjoy lakes, rivers, parks, camping grounds, and trails. The Valley also has museums, galleries, theatres, a local symphony, minor-league baseball, and a variety of festivals and galas.

The primary responsibility of this full-time position is to improve and sustain a variety of library systems to ensure reliable and eƯicient access to the library’s collections and resources. This librarian is responsible for ensuring optimal and accurate discovery and access to library resources. As a member of a small library team, the incumbent brings competence with FOLIO and EDS or similar integrated library systems and discovery services. The incumbent also provides
operational oversight for managing core systems, infrastructure, metadata, and discovery optimization along with other resources and platforms.
