Description: Make an impact at the Salem Public Library! We are seeking a collaborative, engaging, and service-oriented individual to join our team as the Access & Acquisitions Senior Librarian.

This position will:

Train staff to select materials that enhance the library’s collection

Coordinate and collaborate equitable allocations of library funds to build and maintain a robust, inclusive, and accessible collection.

Work closely with the department supervisor to ensure that the library materials budget is spent responsibly and appropriately.

Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers

Perform selection, acquisitions, cataloging, subscription and electronic resource management.
