Description: Temporary Reference Librarians provide reference services to students, faculty, and the public at our urban academic library reference desk and via chat reference. This position is primarily in-person, with occasional remote work a possibility.

Schedules are set each term. We have a specific need for librarians available for weekday afternoons and evenings as well as a Sunday shift.  We may have some other shifts available as well.

Required Qualifications: 

– Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution

– Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

– Reference experience in academic libraries
