Description: This is a part-time, on-site role at Silver Falls Library District in Silverton, OR. This position supports youth-focused library services, including assisting with planning and delivering children’s and teen programs, storytimes, and outreach activities. Tasks include helping patrons locate materials and resources, answering questions, and providing technology assistance. The Youth Services Assistant also helps prepare program materials, maintains youth collections and spaces, performs routine clerical and administrative duties, and contributes to displays and promotional materials. This role works closely with other staff to create a welcoming, engaging environment for young patrons and their caregivers.
